I like to consider myself a playwright in training. I am inspired by classic literature first and foremost, and have a love of all things romantic and macabre. My plays range various topics such as religion, family dynamics, and taboo and tricky love. While I love writing plays that suspend disbelief, traversing into a world of magic and abstraction, I also love to write about the world as we know it: complicated, heartbreaking, and beautiful all on its own.
I am currently seeking a literary agent!

SYNOPSIS
Diane was supposed to watch Hunter for the evening, same as usual. The plan: have Hunter brush his teeth, send him to bed, and have Rory over for some good weed and a good time. What wasn’t in the cards was that Hunter’s weird British friend would be staying the night, and that Mom would be coming home drunk. Diane’s plan for a peaceful night quickly goes off-track when Hunter and Jason refuse to go to sleep, Rory refuses to be honest about his feelings, and Mom insists on ruining Hunter’s favorite game: The Adventures of Robin Hood and the Historically Accurate Account of His Heroic Feats.
A story about childhood, motherhood, young love, and broken promises (and how we can make it up to one another). A complex, troubled family through the eyes of seven-year-old Hunter.

SYNOPSIS
The hopeless part of the whole hopeless romantic thing, the part that seizes us by the throat and makes us miserable, is the part that keeps us hooked. Every glance, every exchange, every smile granted is like another fix. We’re sick when we can’t have it. But we keep coming back for a taste of that sweet romance.
What happens when the person you know the deepest- the one who shares their heart to you every week- is the one person you can never have?
Dr. James Morgan is a therapist married to his job. He has a fascination for a simpler time of romance, tradition, art, and beauty. His heart is closed off until he meets Leyna, a young, strikingly beautiful artist. He’ll do anything to win her heart, but is he willing to risk his career?

The Hoffmans: A 10-minute horror play. While Adam and Jenny are preparing to host their neighbors, the Hoffmans, something odd starts happening in their attic.
Something Tragic:
In her modern, cosmopolitan studio, artist Irena becomes consumed by her muse, Nora, and the sharp, enticing influence of her friend Harry. What was meant to be a final portrait for school becomes a symbol of obsession and jealously: a spectacle of Irena’s destructive artistic devotion.
As the three women circle one another in a feverish world of art, philosophy, and boxed-wine, time ticks away while their relationships unravel. Nora absorbs Harry’s cynicism, Harry toys with Irena’s control, and Irena’s desire threatens to consume both her art and her subject.
A modern, feminist reimagining of The Picture of Dorian Gray, Something Tragic examines the seductions and dangers of beauty, and asks what remains when art becomes God.
You Shall Return: Magdalena (Maggie, for short) arrives to her small Pentecostal hometown to say goodbye to her dying mother. When she gets there, she learns that her mother has already passed on, and her things are being packed up by her childhood friend, Miriam.
