Kimmi has been a singer for as long as she can remember, and was initially accepted into Marymount Manhattan College for Musical Theatre. Although Kimmi changed her major to Acting, she remained in vocal training for the rest of her time at MMC.
Classically trained, Kimmi is a strong soprano. She enjoys singing traditional musical theatre and golden age, but she also has vocal proficiency in rock, pop, and folk music. In high school, Kimmi was in the Best Actress medley for the Blumey Awards in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Since then, she has enjoyed returning to the
Blumenthal for events such as “Blumeys: Past and Present” (featuring talents such as Amina Faye and Will Branner) and the Blumey Awards 10th Anniversary Gala
(featuring the talented Bryson Battle and Sayo Oni).
Kimmi has been lucky enough to portray some of her favorite roles while in educational theatre, such as Christine Daaé in The Phantom of the Opera, and
Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods. While living in NYC, Kimmi has enjoyed performing in numerous cabarets at the Green Room 42.
In 2024, Kimmi received a callback for the West End's production of The Phantom of the Opera.
